Instructions for speakers:
All lecture rooms are equipped with a laptop or PC with MS-Office software (Powerpoint, Word), a beamer, and an overhead projector. If you want to make use of the computer facilities, make sure that you are present in the lecture room at least 20 minutes before the start of the session in which your talk is scheduled, so that your files can be put on the PC. It is strongly recommended that you bring a USB-stick, so that we do not have to change laptops. If you insist, however, we can connect your laptop to the beamer. However, hereby you run the risk of losing presentation time in case of problems.
In case of problems contact the Congress Coordination Frontoffice at (020-59)85942.
Instruction for session chairs:
Please be present in the room in which your session will be held, at least 20 minutes before the start of the session. Presenters may then arrive to put their presentation on the PC.
Sessions of contributed papers: the time slot for talks is 30 minutes, ideally 20 minute presentation and 10 minute discussion. Keep strictly to this schedule!
In case of cancelled talks or presenters that fail to appear: stick to the original schedule, so do not move other talks to an earlier time.
Symposia sessions: The organizer(s) and presenters in a symposium may themselves decide on the time schedule of talks and discussion. The task of the chair is to act as discussion leader if necessary (If the symposium organizers wish to lead the discussion themselves, then they are free to do so), to solve any practical problems that may arise, and to make sure that the symposium ends at the scheduled time.
Assistants of the EPSA09 organization will make sure that water is available for all speakers.
In case of problems contact the Congress Coordination Frontoffice at (020-59)85942.
